Dr. Vincenza Cifarelli received her Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and completed postdoctoral training at Washington University School of Medicine before joining the faculty at SLU School of Medicine in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology. The Cifarelli lab addresses the role of
vascular and lymphatic endothelium in metabolic health, tissue remodeling and inflammation in people with obesity, in women with lipedema and using rodent models of disease.
