Mr Jørgen Johnsen holds an MSc in Public Health Nutrition from Oslo Metropolitan
University (Norway) with a focus on global nutrition and human rights. He is currently
undertaking a part time PhD at Ulster University (UK) focusing on the double burden of
malnutrition and implementation of doble duty actions in low- and middle-income countries.
Jørgen, is working as a consultant for the Food and Nutrition Action in Health Systems Unit
in the Department of Nutrition and Food Safety at the World Health Organization with focus
on nutrition integration in health systems and the WHO Stop Obesity Acceleration Plan.
