MARK BARONE
Doutor em Fisiologia Humana pela USP, Especialista em Educação em Diabetes e em Comunicação. Desenvolve pesquisas e projetos sobre Diabetes e Condições Crônicas Não Transmissíveis (CCNTs), Liderança, Empoderamento e Educação em Saúde, Divulgação Científica, e Saúde Coletiva e Global. Ampla experiência na facilitação de parcerias para a implementação, sustentabilidade e escala de programas e políticas de saúde. Foi Fellow no PHI e Diretor Técnico do Instituto de Saúde Pública do Brasil, prestando serviço à Medtronic Foundation como Senior Global Technical Advisor (2016-2019) e VP da Federação Internacional de Diabetes-IDF (2020-2022). É Fundador e Coordenador Geral do FórumCCNTs, Membro Honorário da ADJ Diabetes Brasil e Membro de Comitês Consultivos nas seguintes instituições e grupos: IAPO, BMJ Patients Panel, RICPHI, NCD-Lab-GCM/WHO e LFAC.
