ISABEL BARBOSA
Isabel Barbosa is an associate director with the Health and Human Rights Initiative at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law, as well as an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University. She is engaged in scholarship, capacity strengthening, and technical assistance activities related to noncommunicable diseases prevention, including through the improvement of food systems. Barbosa is the recipient of the Global Health Law Scholarship from Georgetown University, the Ling Institute Fellowship for Graduate Studies, and the CEAL-Santander Fellowship for Studies Abroad. She has also been selected for Women Deliver’s Young Leaders Program and for the Aspen Institute’s New Voices Fellowship, where she is currently a senior fellow.
