JUAN RIVERA


Dr. Juan Rivera is an emeritus researcher and professor at the National Institute of Public
Health. Formerly the general director of the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico,
he also founded and directed the Centre for Nutrition and Health Research for 15 years.
He has authored over 670 scientific publications with more than 70,400 citations and has
delivered over 820 presentations at national and international scientific events.
