LUIZ OSORIO SILVEIRA LEIRIA
O Prof. Luiz Osório Leiria é graduado em Farmácia, e possui mestrado e doutorado em Farmacologia pela Unicamp. Realizou pós-doutorado entre 2014 e 2018 no Joslin Diabetes Center - Harvard Medical School. Atualmente é professor do Departamento de Farmacologia da Faculdade de Medicina da USP em Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP). Seu grupo de pesquisa estuda as interações ligantes/receptores entre células que compõem o tecido adiposo termogênico e entre o tecido adiposo e outros órgãos reguladores do metabolismo glicêmico e lipídico.
