ANNA GIULIA MEDRI
Anna Giulia Medri is the head of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Equator Initiative in New York. An attorney by training, Anna Giulia is licensed to practice law in New York and Europe. The programme she leads recognizes, advances and scales Indigenous Peoples and local communities’ solutions for sustainable development for people, nature and resilient communities. Her background includes work experiences in the private sector as well as at a not-for-profit organization. Anna Giulia’s fascination with nature and her interest in human rights makes her an enthusiastic supporter of sustainable development solutions as means to ensure the respect of Indigenous communities’ basic rights.
