CAROLINA BATIS


Carolina Batis is a nutritional epidemiologist at the National Institute of Public Health
(INSP), Mexico and the chair of the Doctoral program in Nutrition in this institution. Her
research focuses on the study of population’s dietary intake including methods for dietary
assessment; monitoring and evaluation of dietary quality; the identification of the
determinants of dietary intake; and the evaluation of food policies.
